Texas Hill Country
Brambly notes of blackberry, sweet baking spice and smoke lace this rich bouquet. You'll find rich black fruits, dried fig, game and cedar on the palate well balanced with supple tannins and bright acidity.
Winemaker Josh Fritsche began working in the Texas wine industry nearly a decade ago. Working his way through the ranks from cellar rat, assistant winemaker to winemaker he joined the Slate Mill winemaking team in April of 2019. His personal label Tatum Cellars was launched to extraordinary critical and consumer acclaim.
Food Pairing Notes
Pair with a lean cut of meat or porkchop. The supple tannins will also accent creamy cheeses or pasta with cream sauce.
