Texas High Plains
With a nose of tropical fruit and creme fraiche, the mouth coating palate lends to vanilla bean, butter, cream toasted pineapple and graham. The french oak adds elegant layers of richness without being weighty.
Winemaker Josh Fritsche began working in the Texas wine industry nearly a decade ago. Working his way through the ranks from cellar rat, assistant winemaker to winemaker he joined the Slate Mill winemaking team in April of 2019. His personal label Tatum Cellars was launched to extraordinary critical and consumer acclaim.
Food Pairing Notes
A phenomenal substitute for those who gravitate to Chardonnay! This wine can be paired well with most types of cuisine, but shines with a cheese and charcuterie board.
