1851 Vineyards: 2016 Tannat
Sourced from the Texas High Plains, this varietal originated in France, became widely popular in Uruguay vineyards, and has become the wine sought by Texas consumers. Tannat is a variety known for it's intense pigmentation and high tannins. Notes of cassis, brambly blackberry and cedar make this full bodied tannic powerhouse enticing for red wine lovers.
